The Basic Idea
| Instead of browsing a shelf and picking a book by its cover, you tell us a little about what you like — a genre, a favorite author, maybe your GoodReads profile — and we hand-pick a book for you. You won't know the title until you unwrap it. No algorithm. No random pick out of a bin. A real person reading your preferences and choosing a book we think you'll actually love. |  |
What's Inside a Blind Date with a Book Box
| Every box starts with the book itself, wrapped in kraft paper and tied with twine or ribbon so the cover stays a surprise. From there, we tuck in a few cozy extras — think bookmarks, a face mask, or other small treats — to make opening it feel like an event, not just a delivery. |  |
You choose:
- Genre — romance, mystery/thriller, fantasy, historical fiction, cookbooks, YA, and more. Not sure? Pick "surprise me" and we'll take it from there.
- New or gently read — a brand-new copy, or a gently read book we've given a second life. Gently read boxes start at $18; new books start at $30.
